Welcome to Serenya Hair Retreat. These T&C and Policies explain how we handle appointments, payments, personal information and your use of our website. By booking an appointment, becoming a member, signing up to prepayment plans or using our site, you agree to these terms.
1. Privacy & Data Protection
We collect information such as your name, contact details, and appointment history to provide salon services and reminders.
Your information is used only for business purposes (e.g: scheduling, confirmations, and special offers if you’ve opted in).
We never sell or share your data with third parties except for essential service providers (e.g: online booking or payment processors).

2. Cookies & Website Use
Our website may use cookies (small data files) to improve browsing and booking performance.
You can disable cookies in your browser settings if you prefer.
All content, photos, and branding on our site belong to Serenya Hair Retreat Limited and may not be copied or used without permission.
3. Appointments & Cancellations
Please arrive on time for your appointment. No earlier than five minutes before unless organised with your stylist, as other clients sessions may still be going.
Cancellations or reschedules must be made at least 24 hours in advance to avoid fees or loss of deposits.
Late arrivals of more than 15 minutes may result in shortened service or cancellation.
Missed appointments or same-day cancellations may be subject to a fee or loss of deposit.
4. Payments & Refunds
Payment is due at the time of service.
We accept Eftpos, credit card and bank transfer payment methods.
Refunds are not typically issued for completed services. If you’re unsatisfied, please contact us within 7 days so we can address your concern or offer a correction.
All pricing is in NZD and may be updated without notice as a product and supplier costs change.
5. Health & Safety
Please inform your stylist or technician of any allergies, sensitivities, or medical conditions before your appointment.
We are not responsible for reactions or results due to undisclosed information.
Our salon follows health and sanitation standards to ensure a safe environment for all clients.

We may update these terms periodically. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.

While we strive for the best possible results, individual outcomes may vary. By receiving our services, you acknowledge that Serenya Hair Retreat and its staff are not liable for any adverse reactions or dissatisfaction arising from the use of our products or services.
Membership Terms & Conditions
Our Serenya Memberships are designed to nurture your hair and wellbeing throughout the year. Each membership comes with exclusive privileges.
The yearly joining fee covers the administrative time and costs associated with your membership.
The joining gift is a special welcome, offered to first-time members only.
Members receive one complimentary Scalp Wellness Evaluation each membership year.
Members receive one complimentary Spa Treatment each membership year.
The birthday discount on our spa menu is available only during your birthday month.
Spa treatments do not include follow-up services (such as a blow wave or haircut). These need to be added at your own cost when booking.
Our Elta Ego non-alcoholic cocktails are available exclusively to members aged 18 and over.
The Product of the Month discount applies only during that specific month and only to the featured product.
Christmas gifts are offered to members who have an appointment booked during December.
Members with priority waitlist access will be offered available appointments first. If multiple members qualify, bookings will be offered in order of who joined the waitlist earliest.
Membership cancellations do not qualify for refunds or credits for unused perks.
Memberships are non-transferable and valid for 12 months from the date of joining.
Serenya Hair Retreat reserves the right to adjust membership benefits at any time, with reasonable notice provided to members.
Prepayment Plan Terms & Conditions
Our Prepayment Plans are a simple, stress-free way to invest in your regular self-care. By contributing weekly or fortnightly, you can build credit to enjoy future treatments and products whenever you choose.
Eligibility: Prepayment Plans are available only to active Serenya Hair Retreat members.
Payment Method: Payments are securely processed via Stripe weekly.
Credit Use: Payments contribute to your personal salon credit balance, which can be used toward hair services and retail products.
Flexibility: You may use part or all of your accumulated credit at any time while your membership is active.
Non-Refundable: Prepaid funds are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash or transferred to another person.
Membership Requirement: Prepayment Plans are linked to an active membership. If your membership expires or is cancelled, any remaining credit will be forfeited unless used within a four week period after cancelation date.
Duration: "Hair Account' credit will remain valid for the length of your membership (12 months).
Failed Payments: If a scheduled payment fails, credit will not accumulate until payment resumes.
Cancellation: You may cancel your Prepayment Plan at any time.
Amendments: Serenya Hair Retreat reserves the right to update plan options or terms, with notice provided in advance.
Agreement: Enrolling in a Prepayment Plan confirms that you understand and accept these terms.

All client information is kept strictly confidential and used only for appointment management and salon communications. We respect your privacy and never share personal information with third parties.
Health & Safety
Please inform your stylist of any allergies, sensitivities, or health conditions that may affect your treatment. Our priority is always your comfort and wellbeing.
Right to Decline Service
To protect the safety and serenity of our retreat space, Serenya Hair Retreat reserves the right to respectfully decline service in situations of inappropriate behaviour or unmet health and safety conditions.
