"With over 20 years in the hair industry, I’ve been fortunate to build a career that has taken me from magazine shoots and fashion runways to competing in, as well as judging live and photographic competitions - national and internationally.

Along the way, I’ve collected prestigious awards, worked as a Redken Artist, taught on education platforms, and collaborated with inspiring creatives across New Zealand and abroad.

A change in priorities in 2016 inspired me to create a private salon from my home, where I could continue caring for my loyal clients — whilst raising a family. Becoming a mum shifted my perspective, deepening my passion for health and wellbeing, motivating me to create a space that truly embraces who I’ve become and represents my values.

Serenya Hair Retreat is the next chapter of that journey. It brings together my artistry, experience and heart to create something more than just a salon — a sanctuary where everyone feels seen, valued, and beautifully cared for."
